Susannah Fullerton

I am a literary lecturer, author and literary tour leader. My passion is books and sharing a love of reading with others. I am President of the Jane Austen Society of Australia and have written and lectured extensively on Jane Austen.

I write a popular free monthly newsletter, ‘Notes from a Book Addict’. This celebrates literary anniversaries, provides book recommendations and discusses a fabulous poem each month because we all need more poetry in our lives.

With my literary tours I take Australians to Europe, the UK, NZ and around Australia exploring homes of famous writers, landscapes connected with masterpieces, film locations and libraries.

I am the author of ‘Brief Encounters: Literary travellers in Australia’, and of several books about Jane Austen. My latest book, published by the Bodleian Library in Oxford, is ‘Great Writers and the Cats Who Owned Them’.

Books have changed and enriched my life and I want others to share the joy of books.

“Explore the wonderful world of literature.”
